Notes From New York is a successful London (West End) based concert series, created primarily to showcase the output of contemporary musical theatre writers.

Sunday 21 November 2004 – Trafalgar Studios, Whitehall

Soap siren Amy Nuttall and teen pop sensation Jon Lee joined musical theatre stars and series regulars Julie Atherton and Paul Spicer to headline this first anniversary gala alongside an exceptional ensemble made up of past cast members Shona Lindsay, Damien Edwards, Debbie Kurup, Oliver Tompsett and Ashleigh Gray.

Featuring all of the composers profiled so far in the series, the show included songs by Pulitzer Prize winner Jonathan Larson, the perennially popular Jason Robert Brown, the Grammy nominated Andrew Lippa, as well as John Bucchino, Adam Guettel, Jimmy Roberts and newcomer Tim Acito.
